Meet Slash. The place I did not want to leave once I stepped in. For professional reasons I get to know Slash; a pearl hidden in the very elegant and recently renovated square, Piazza del Quartiere Latino 15 in Treviso.
I loved the shop’s accurated choices, between hardcore Japanese brands and more contemporary lines. The shop carries brands like: Cristina Miraldi, Rohka, Rundholz, Jeremy Scott, Altrove, Yamamoto, CDG along with shoes from Sigerson Morrison, Y-3, Elisa Nero.

A studied minimalism: a wide, white space deprived of useless decoration. There is one word, an important one that describes what I felt at Slash: freedom. You feel free to watch, to admire, to touch, to try, free not to buy without feeling guilty and free to dream without being judged.

One day, on the street, while looking for an address I couldn’t find, someone says to me: the dress you are wearing is beautiful. I finally get to my destination and I met Luca. Exactly the same person who appreciated my dress. Luca is Slash’s creative brain. A man who trusts and follows his emotions. Before anything else Luca is one of the most professional persons I ever met. A precious quality, often hard to find. He and Marisa are leading Slash and Prospecting by Slash, a smaller shop (nearby) mainly focused on casual shoes and bags.

Two of Luca favourite picks are Cristina Miraldi’s small cape, entirely hand embroidered and the Ri Edizione’s reversible coat. Slash, Piazza del Quartiere Latino 15, Treviso.
I felt free as a bird when I went to Treviso all by myself on saturday: I decided to go to Slash even if I didn’t know exactly where it was: I got peacefully lost and i found it!
And I definitively agree with you Eusebia: not only freedom, but such a nice delicacy and such a warmth always dedicated to whom enters the shop are a real gift you can’t forget…..
Thank you to you, Marisa and Luca.
Great post!
Me too, I like this unique place where every detail is shown in this accurate however elegant and natural way. They are really brave and light at the same time, with no desire to punch and shock: every display windows they made is essential art and communicative vision, pure essence.
They make me discover an unusual brand like “Altrove” or stay in touch with latest works by lovemarks such Yamamoto or CDG.
It’s funny to find a concept boutique like Slash in a town like Treviso. No stress (like other high end stores in town… don’t ask me the names…) and the qualified eye of Luca that helps you choose the best.
Prima volta in Slash.
Un nuovo mondo si e’ aperto.
Io donna quasi classica, mi sono scoperta quasi moderna.
Un mondo di ricerca, un mondo nuovo, fatto di tagli tessuti volumi.
Nicolas Julitta, Angelos Frentzos, Marios, Petar Petrov, ecc ecc
Che scoperta, che stordimento visivo, Slash, Luca……Grazie
